Had to have a body work repair. It's a busy wee place, but the boss fitted me in as soon as there was a space. Cheery and helpful staff. I'll be back if I need another repair!! (Also do MOTs)

Phenomenal service from Springfield Motors, these guys should have capes 'cos they're super hero's.
The background. I am visiting family in the area and whilst at Asda all the oil came out of my engine. I found them on Google maps and they could not have be more helpful. They came to our rescue within a few minutes and towed our car to the garage. They also offerd to run us to nearby retail park we wanted to get to. The problem was quickly established and repaired at a very reasonable cost. I was even picked up and taken to the garage as I was not sure of the location. This was all done in just over two hours, i would understand that this could not be accomplished every time but thats impressive. Top marks, I could not recommend them more, the Loanhead area is lucky to have them.

Have used springfield for mots , repairs and bodywork for a few years now . They know their stuff , do a good job and their prices are always fair .

I had an emergency while I was at work where one of my pipes coming from the radiator burst and was spewing water everywhere. Now, they were excellent in helping me with this emergency and had it fixed by the next day. However, I was overcharged, and I'm not saying this just because I was charged over £100 just to have them attach a portion of a new pipe (the whole thing was not replaced), I'm also saying this because in the labour portion of the receipt it says £50 but in the totals column next to labour they wrote in £70. I should have picked up on this when collecting the car. If I had to pay £100 to have it fixed so be it, but at least keep your story consistent. In addition, they discovered another issue and said that they would order the part in for me and call me when it arrived so it could be attached. I don't believe it was ever ordered as I never received a call. And took it to another mechanic where they replaced the small part for free.
So in conclusion, I appreciate them helping me in an emergency but they did not keep the charges consistent and forgot to do the other half of the job.
