I purchased a skoda kodiaq 2018 from these lot, but unfortunately it was over the phone purchase due to distance. It had a glorious history and up keep and the photos of the vehicle showed it was a good car. The sales person Gavin Fraser made out the car was in excellent condition, even went around it himself.
The car was delivered to me free of charge, but I decided to meet the driver 1/2 way. The car arrived dirty and wet, but it had been on the road and wet conditions. Due to this, the car wasn't body work inspected or should I say hidden.
Next day I washed the car and the history showed up. Overspray,misalignment of driver side doors and bumper out of line.
I contacted Gavin and he knew nothing about it, nearly 20 years working there and his professional eye never seen it. That's when the hassle started, I could return the vehicle with the mileage procedure deducted at £1.50 per mile ( including the delivery miles) so looking at over 300 miles. Get a vehicle report at my cost and no mention of if they would sort it.
Distance selling has its flaws when companies like this just throw the paperwork at you to say you will lose money either way of my purchase. AVOID THIS COMPANY THEY ARE NOT WORTHY OF CAR SELLING WORLD. GAVIN FRASER is a not a honest man. Argument is on going. Please becareful what you purchase as the other person (GAVIN FRASER) is not your friend and he only thinks about himself and not YOU or the company he works for. IAN GRIEVE AT FALKIRK.
Please comment, I know there is good stories, but also post the bad. The photos show the overspray and misalignment of areas. This car was supposed to be in excellent condition. Especially for the price I paid. Crooks.

From the minute we spoke to Gavin at Ian Grieve to this morning when I drove our new wee car away the service has been first class. The process was quick and easy and couldn’t recommend them more. We test drove the car and wasn’t a hassle to them at all. We had nearly lost hope in buying cars from used car garages due to bad experiences in the past but feel we have now found a garage we will use for many years to come. Thank you so much and can’t wait for all our adventures in our new car!

Had to pay £309 for a service which was supposed to be free. Service staff not helpful. Only interested in getting paid. Received the car back late afternoon. Now when I’m leaving for work I have low pressure in one of the tyres. Discovered a nail. Perfect 😕

All seemed well originally, bought my car through hire purchase, staff were friendly and helpful. Fast forward on a year to when my service was due, booked in with the garage to have a service before my MOT was due to ensure I got a further years warranty, travelled the hours drive to the garage and waited whilst my service was being completed. On arrival I mentioned how my car has been great however driving over I seemed to loose power on the motorway and there after, suggested a fuel injector might be blocked, the garage assured me they would have a look. To put it bluntly the service department have seen a young girl and taken full advantage, quoting me £1,800 worth of work needing done to my car. Shocked, I payed the £252 for completing the service. On the way back my car continued to loose power on the motorway after the garage assured me it was fine, almost causing an accident on the slip roads. Concerned, I took the car and paperwork to my local garage for a second opinion. I had my full MOT carried out and told that only one shock absorber needed fixed to pass the MOT, not all 4 tyres, not all 4 shock absorbers, not my window wiper. My local garage were equally as shocked at how much I’d been quoted and assured me my car did not need all of that work done.
I have now fully paid off the car and will not be returning to this garage. I am posting this review to make others (specifically younger women) aware that the service department only care about money and not looking after their customers or providing a high level of customer service, I would also highly advise getting a second opinion before committing to any payments here.

Please avoid this car dealer. My husband bought a car for about £19000 on 25th August 2023. After a few weeks, there was a funny noise coming from the car. We let these people know about this issue, and, surprisingly, its now the 12th August 2024, just short of a year, the car is still not fixed. We've been emailing them, but we're not getting any answers back. They are an absolutely dishonest company.
