Knowledgeable and kind, this company sells wonderful clay, glazes, and tools and moulds. They are always willing to help with questions; I had a problem with an older glaze, and they called the company that produced it to see what had caused it! They are also able to look up previous orders on the computer, which is great when you are overwhelmed with all the awesome products!

Worst experience ever. Im a business owner and reviews are such a big deal, first time ever having to leave a bad review but truly what a terrible experience. I’m in desperate need for glaze since my local distributor has been out. Without glaze I would have to close my business down until I get some. There’s only 1 distributor of glaze in my area. I was on my way up north for 4th of July I saw there was one an hour away from where I was staying so I was willing to drive over there. When I called she said they were closed almost like 4/5 days for 4th of July So I asked if it can be shipped, she told me to email her my information because they closed at 3:30 so she can ship it right away. It was almost 3 and had not received any invoice or response.and I called 3/4 hours prior to closing time. I kept calling the store before they closed multiple times. No answer. When she finally answered she said” YES IM HERE” ? She was just now going to go see the email. So if I would have not called I wouldnt haven’t been able to purchase the glaze. There was 5 dogs barking in the background. Which was extremely unprofessional. I could barely hear her. And when I tried to pay she kept giving issues because the card yes or yes had to have the same billing address as my home address so I had to give her a different card, which she sighed over… She was upset because she had to work ? I’m out of glaze because she was unwilling to work for a customer who was in desperate need. Now I had to close my shop down until I find. Extremely disappointed, dissatisfied and really upset. I do understand stress but customers shouldn’t know you are. That’s unprofessional. The attitude of laziness is the reason I refused to make a purchase here even though it would cost me. Sad.

I come here regularly, the staff are very kind and knowledgeable. Every time I have a question they go above and beyond to help me learn more about pottery. The shop also has a wide variety of glazes and tools for my projects.

Purchased 1000 lbs of clay... hated taking a day off work to collect it, however, they don't have weekend or evening hours. I was pleasently surprized by how nice these people are! Really nice folks! Helped me load each and every box. Not easy work. I'll go back when i need to get more. Good vibe!

I have been going to Fl clay for over a decade now. I started going there when I was a student and still choose them because they are always friendly. They always make me feel welcome and their discounts are great. Carol and all the other ladies go out of their way to say hi to me every time I’m in there. I have needed parts in the past that are not stocked in the store and Carol was able to find them for me. Whenever I have questions about glazes or glaze materials, her employee go out of their way to answer all my questions. I would never shop any place else!

I love Florida Clay Art. I have been going there since they opened years ago. Carol is very knowledgeable regarding her products and hires great staff! I will say this, some of the staff has lots of fur and don't talk much but they are very friendly!
