As far as dead malls go, this one is very pretty! The escalators and elevator were both broken today, which is wild because the theater is upstairs. Also, the AC doesn't seem to work in the main walking areas. I hope it's better inside the theater.

I love coming here. The theater is old yes, but it's always clean and the employees are always so nice. Plus, a lot of the time if you wait a week or two for a movie you can have the whole theater to yourself. Not to mention that it cost half of what you would pay at other places.

I love this theater. The design is so classic, brings me lots of nostalgia. The theater has functioning A/C, comfy seats and sound system is great. Popcorn was hot and fresh, I will definitely be returning and bringing all my friends/family!

I have no idea how this mall/ theater is still alive?
Although the building is nice, well kept, and clean, it's like a zombie apocalypse, ready to be taking over.
Probably, 90% of the stores are permanently closed, the second floor is only open due to the theater, and the electric stairs are always off. You have to take the slowest elevator ever to reach the second floor.
The first floor has a few claw machines, candy coin machines, and perhaps a few stores open for your quick entertainment as your exit the building. Really, not mucho if anything at all to do here.

One of the best, 'hole in the wall'-esque theaters. The mall has seen better days but the Theater is still holding strong. Ticket prices are always good, the staff keeps the theater clean, and it never feels pact. Concession prices feel about the same any where else. The only real complaint is the fact the mall wont let you use the escalators as stairs and you HAVE to use the slowest elevator ever to get there. Other than that, My Go To Theater.
I could live an hour away and pass 3 other theaters and would still come here.

Can't beat the prices for movies. Theater is clean and comfortable, great place for a movie. Need more stuff in the mall and it would be perfect. Hope it stays around ,very nice theater!!

Recently I had the misfortune of visiting the theater at Fashion Square Mall, and I have to say, it’s the worst movie theater experience I've had. To put it bluntly, this place is abhorrent.

The first thing that hits you when you walk in is the overwhelming stench. It smells like a combination of mildew and cheap cologne, creating a nauseating aroma that lingers throughout the entire space. This place is disgustingly filthy. The floors are sticky, and there’s visible grime everywhere you look. It’s as if the theater hasn’t been cleaned in years.

The seating situation is even worse. The chairs are torn and stained, covered in dirt and grease accumulated from years of neglect and filthy patrons. Sitting in them feels like a health hazard. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of these stains could tell stories that would make your skin crawl. And don't even get me started on the D-Box seats—they feel like you're on the worst Frontier flight to nowhere, jerking and jostling you around uncomfortably. It’s clear that the maintenance of this theater is not a priority for management.

The theater's surroundings aren’t much better. Fashion Square Mall itself seems like a relic from the 90s that hasn’t seen any updates or repairs since. The decommissioned escalators and the horribly malfunctioning elevator—leaking water from the roof, no less—just add to the overall feeling of neglect and decay. It’s as if the whole place is slowly crumbling into disrepair.

The only "positive" thing about this theater is that it’s usually empty. And for good reason. Once people come here, they quickly realize how awful it is and never return. Trust me, if you have any common sense, you’ll avoid this place like the plague.

Do not let the few positive reviews fool you. I don’t know who is writing them, but I suspect they either have incredibly low standards or have some ulterior motive. Save your time, money, and sanity. Do not go to the theater at Fashion Square Mall. It’s a decision you’ll instantly regret.

It’s sad to see what this place has come to. What was once the hotspot back in the day, this theater is now nothing of the past. I don’t even know how this place is still open. It’s so bad, they don’t even have the a/c in the lobby area. Poor workers have to use fans. The theater is old and very run down, and it smells. I felt like stuff was crawling on me the whole time. It just made me itchy. They need to either upgrade this theater or close it down. Needless to say, I’ll never set foot in this place again.
