I don’t think it’s fair that I paid my past due water bill plus my next water bill that wasn’t even due for another couple weeks, and y’all shut my water off, I paid both bills at 4pm, and y’all can’t turn my water back on until the next day, and you don’t close until 5pm, and it’s only 4:25pm, but if I pay an additional $145 you’ll break your neck trying to get here today, right now and turn my water on. NOT fair to your loyal customers. That’s just pure greed!!! I have been a customer for the past 12 years. And never get a notice, no one comes to the door to warn anyone that they’re turning the water off, and NO LATE NOTICE IN THE MAIL!!

I understand they have their rules and policies but sometimes people just get busy and can overlook paying and yes I know that is why they offer automatic payments- but wouldn't it be so thoughtful and professional if they would just give a courtesy phone call to their customer before they disconnect? I paid immediately and a phone call would have saved them from having to come right back out to turn it back on! Wouldn't that save them a lot of trouble and manpower too? And then to top it off the whole neighborhood can see that I was late paying and had my water shut off because they spray painted a huge bright blue streak not only on the sidewalk in front near my meter, but there is a huge bright blue circle on the road out front by my mailbox! I could understand making a small marking, or even using the option of placing a removable flag or stake. But thanks a lot for marking me to stand out like a sore thumb for everyone to know! Now I'm trying to scrub the bright blue spray paint off the sidewalk in front of my house and it doesn't come off easy either.

Worst water company ! I had changed credit cards and forgot to update new credit card info on their website. I’ve been a customer for 6 years and never late . They never called me or mailed me a late fee , they just turned off my water . The guy didn’t even have the courtesy to knock on the door when it was obviously there were several people at home. After have paying over $200 so I could get my water back on Then . 2 days later I got a late notice in the mail . Ridiculous!!! They act like it is liquid gold !! They suck !!

I have had auto pay for years with them. Something happened and it didn't work and it's my fault? Made it seem like they were doing me a favor by waving the late fee. It's still not fixed, and they tell me it's through a 3rd party that's fine, but it was on your statement I signed up through! They will shut you off in a minute if your late but heaven forbid that they would screw up they take all the time they need. It's a shame a city organization is ran in this manner.

I was past due. My fault. I am an over the road truck driver and forget I have to actually seek out my bill instead of getting an email or text. Anyway. I paid my bill in full at 6:00am on a Thursday. The day I am returning home from over the road. I get home at 5:00pm and am happy to jump into a hot shower.... well water was not turned back on. I called the main office at 5:05 and no answer. Office is open until 5:30pm. Left a message and no call back. I call the emergency water number and was told that if I wanted my water turned back on I should of called earlier and if I want it turned on now it will be $145 after hours fee. I called within the hours and no answer/no callback. Never had I had to call to have a utility turned back on. Seems like a money scam to me. Absolutely pathetic

They are the worse company to deal with poor customer service quick to shut your water off and slow to turn on the service back on. My bill is over the top they won't help you with payment plans they straight up no good

My water bill is now as much as my electric bill! I have friends in Orange City who have double the occupants and more bathroom usage, yet their water bill is less than half what mine is. We use very little water, so how can they justify a $259.00 monthly bill? I am looking into reporting them to the state.
