Great food. Great location. We had a party member who is celiac (gluten free or gets really sick) and we contacted ahead of time and we were taken care of. They answered our questions and when we arrived they had been warned. Whilst this isn’t an everyday case it was really welcome and indicated their approach to customer service. Food was great and in an era of ever rising prices was really good value. Location next to golf course eating outside around sunset excellent.

We had a lovely lunch here over Labor Day weekend. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty and well presented. The grounds and setting are very pleasing.

We had a 2:30 reservation for lunch, which is quite late. But it was a beautiful afternoon so we took a table on the patio. Being pescatarian our choices were limited and the fish and chips was off. So we had a tapas style meal composed from appetizers. The fresh bruschetta was the best I ever had. Baked feta was just as tasty as the bruschetta but with feta and three kinds of olives too. Lastly the shrimp tempura. Such a simple dish, so easy to get it wrong and over cook the shrimp. Not here. As tender as you'd ever wish for. Did I mention that the IPA was great too?

Peg, Rich, Heidi and the team at Ate O Ate catered our wedding at Roxbury Barn & Estate and wow, wow, wow… all we can say is THE BEST!!! They are such wonderful, personable people to work with, but ultimately, their knowledge of weddings and talent for farm to table culinary dishes spoke for itself. We had an overflowing market table and passed summer h’ors doeuvres, a plated surf and turf dinner, and Peg made her famous cheesecake as our wedding cake! Their commitment to our happiness cannot be overstated. Everything was truly delicious and made with love. Her team was seamless and we even had fun picking our menu and all the details together during our tastings in Roxbury. We will miss this crew and their food!!!

Wow !! What an amazing place !!! The place is super cute, ambiance was one of a kind. Host is super friendly . French onion soup was the BOMB !!! Highly recommend. Will come back in summer for some outdoor lunch .

I have eaten here 4 or so times at this point. It was always open when some of the other local places were closed . Cool setting in the basement , good service and food. Beautiful setting in general

Ate O Ate catered our wedding at the Inn at West Settlement and our brunch at Shephard Hills Golf Course the following day. The food and service were both excellent. Ate O Ate are professionals and have clearly been doing the catering gig for a long time. Peg was communicative and accessible at every step of the way, and gave us more guidance than we can say our wedding coordinator did. They offered us a lovely tasting before the wedding and gave us advice on how to create a crowd-pleasing assortment. Everyone raved about how tasty, fresh and healthy the food was. Ate O Ate also did a great job of accommodating our allergy and dietary restriction concerns. We had a few people at the wedding with severe allergies to all major groups and everyone could eat heartily and happily. So grateful to them for helping make our wedding a huge success!

We had a fantastic lunch at the restaurant in the lodge of Shephard Hills. It's up a winding road from Roxbury. The restaurant has an outdoor patio that overlooks the grounds and a pond. The food exceeded expectations and was quite reasonably priced for the quality and service in the Catskills. We had the tenderloin sandwich, cod bites and a veg sandwich, all of which were delicious and made with care (our tartar sauce was garnished!). Service was very attentive and friendly. We look forward to coming back here.
