I took my vehicle here for the 1st time to pass a smog check. I spoke to Jonathan, he charged me exactly what he said he would charge, and he provided excellent customer service. It was my first time, and I'll definitely be going back again when I need it. I was in & out very quickly!!! I'd highly recommend taking your car here for your smog, and repair needs.

Johnathan, the owner, knows what he’s doing. He identified the cause of my engine light being turned on (one of my cylinders was busted) and ordered one (instead of ordering the entire set of cylinders) and replaced it. So honest and knowledgeable! I will definitely go back to him.

Jay was the J of the 5J’s family owned business that helped me when I recently stopped by to see about getting some service done and was impressed and refreshed having need for a local mechanic so just finished replacement of my crankshaft positioning sensor, CV boot axle and traditional oil change since been around 4K since last change out (I have tried to complete every 7,500 miles or sooner since the manual says 7500 but I drive hard exactly 400,000 miles hard so I guess I am doing something right.
Back to the outstanding service Jay provided. I will be bringing Betsy back to 5J’s for future maintenance.

They overcharge. They charged me 35$ to take out a nail in my tire. And they don’t tell you the price until AFTER they start working, so you really have no choice but to pay their price. Not very honest,

This guy will sandbag you. Never seems to know what the problem is, but he will recommend ridiculous repairs and when you question him, he makes it seem like you are telling him what to do. He is delusional and a crook. Do no use.

I left my car at this shop a week and a half ago. I was told my car would be ready the next day, it wasn’t. Since then, the shop has been closed & no one is answering the phone. Randomly an older man answers and he pretends to not be related to this shop. He hungs up. At this point the police is getting involved. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. SCAMMERS STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Por favor no vayan a este lugar, el que atiende no tiene nada de respeto. Fui a smog check, una vez que pagaste ya te jodiste por que van a hacer lo que quieran, de la nada te va a decir ven otro día ya cerre y su horario en la pared dice que a las 6pm cierran. Te la va a hacer cansada haciendote regresar las veces que el guy quiera. Es la PEOR EXPERIENCIA EN SERVICIO AL CLIENTE. Aparte se esconden para no atenderte!

This place is good. The Mechanic who runs it is honest and professional. I've had glass work done here when my car got broken into and he was able to get me a new window at a reasonable price. He even vacuumed the broken glass out of my car. I've come back to him for oil changes and he always does a good job!
