Firstly, the customer service staff are lovely. They've always been really helpful whenever I've been there with my Stepway.
Next, salesperson Hugo was great - he spent a lot of time with me as I ummed and ahhed about trading mine in. He sent me out in a Qashqai and gave directions for a good decent length test drive. (Btw -not knocking Dacia Stepway at all - it's actually a fab car; I was telling myself I was going to wait for Dacia to bring out the Bigster before changing cars cos it looks great but I'm too impatient! I had a Qashqai previously and knew I wanted one again.)
When I returned from the test drive and said I didn't like the colour of the car (I know, I know! Such a girly thing to say!), Hugo was happy to check stock and bring round a second vehicle for me to check out and drive. He was clear when explaining the financial side of the deal, going over everything, responding to all my questions and comments and was happy to give me pen and paper and leave me be while I played with figures to make sure I was getting the best deal. Handover 2 days later was seamless - Hugo was on holiday but he'd told me this when completing the paperwork, so he ensured everything was ready for his colleague and I to sign on the day.
Overall, I would recommend this branch.
**Edit added 18/01/25: removed a star from my review as discovered car was clearly not checked before handover - screen wash was empty (not what you want to discover as you're driving!) and have also discovered funeral mass order of service booklets in passenger seat pockets (obvs I'm not in the back of the car, my passenger found them when putting their stuff in the pocket). Maybe the 'behind the scenes' staff could be more thorough in their checks before cars are given to customers.

Just bought a Juke n-sport from Hugo Mendonca at Lookers, Carlisle. Superb professional service from everyone involved. I’ve criticised Lookers in the past for the quality of their customer service but this recent experience was first rate.
Hugo was superb in every way; knowledgeable and professional throughout but also relaxed and friendly.
Our new Juke n-sport hybrid is a quality car with oodles of safety kit, it’s also proving to be extremely frugal ( see photo attached). We’ve driven it from Dumfries to the Mull of Galloway and to Edinburgh and back in our first week and it’s been flawless and even better than our previous Juke, which we loved.
