I spoke with Mike on the phone about the vehicle I was interested in before going and he was able to talk numbers with me before I even got to the lot. He met me when I arrived and had the car ready to go. He knew upfront what I had to work with and was very informative and pleasant throughout the process with my many question’s. I wasn’t feeling pressured by any means and he made the whole process smooth. For the financing part, Scott was very patient and even helped me get a lower rate and explained the warranty process and how it all worked in a terms that made it understandable. They were aware of my approval through the bank and did not try to sell me on more than what I wanted. I Also loved the woman Sandy, at the front desk she was the sweetest and was helpful while I waited while they got the paperwork together. Thank you Ferman for making my car buying experience the best. Would recommend! I was very happy with my purchase when I left, and I also got a little Blue duck to go with my Blue Jeep!

My purchase was a strange one, as I was buying from out of state. Two hurricanes, death in the family, unexpected death in the family of the owner of the transportation broker I had scheduled with, need for wet signatures via a local notary on some of the paperwork, etc etc, made this one by far the most drawn-out and challenging vehicle purchases I've done in 39 years of buying/selling cars.

All that being said, I had an excellent buying experience, and all staff members I worked with were friendly and efficient. Neil Giles, however, stands out as simply one of the best salesmen I've ever worked with. His communication was outstanding with me across the nearly month-long process it took to get this vehicle to me. He was zero pressure, thorough when responding to my many questions, timely with answers on anything, and was just a friendly guy to work with. He is what all vehicle salespeople should be like, and if we ever find ourselves over in the New Port Richey area we'll stop by and I'll shake his hand.

Lastly, I very much appreciated that of all the dealerships I worked with across 5 states to find the best deal I could, Ferman was one of the only that did not try to tack on a bunch of dealer-installed unnecessary/unwanted add-ons like underbody protection, window etching, tint, etc etc. I hate bait and switch tactics like that. Advertising low prices and then adding back things like that is an immediate turn-off for me as a buyer and I leave any dealership that does it. The price for my Jeep was the price shown, plus the up-front communicated processing/tax/title/license fees. Ferman needs to maintain that practice, as it'll attract more buyers like me.

My mother-in-law (Mary) and her husband (no longer with us) previously purchased their Ram 1500 from Ferman Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. Their previous purchase was challenging due to financial issues which she and her husband were subjected to by no fault of their own.
With the passing of her husband, the higher payment has been presenting an extra challenge. Kim and I are visiting Florida and yesterday chose to return to Ferman with Mary to see if there was a possibility of finding an alternate vehicle to lower Mary's monthly payment.

As a first experience for Kim and I, we now understand why Mary wanted to try Ferman Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram first.
Darren met us at the door, immediately introduced himself and then listened. Many times, salespeople have ignored Kim and focused on me. That is always a mistake. Darren did not make that error. He made several inquiries as to our needs and then proceeded to find options.

Darren presented no pressure and simply offered to show us various vehicles on their lot which could possibly fit Mary's needs.

It just so happened that a suitable vehicle was on their lot. A used Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited...4x2, V6. This was the unicorn we needed. Not a popular choice of vehicle to be sure...however, perfect for Mary and an opportunity for Ferman to releive their lot of a difficult sale. We settled on a fair price which would effect the change in monthly payment needed.

Next up was Scott, the business manager. We all hear about business managers working extras into a deal...but I will say that Scott not only worked some financing magic, but he also treated Mary and this situation with respect. We all worry about our parents being taken by a dealership. We would now trust sending Mary to Ferman Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram alone. I think that is about the best compliment I can give.

We would return to the dealership if ever we were in the Florida auto market. An honest sale, at a fair price with a comfortable experience.. Can you really ask for more?

I brought my vehicle to the shop. Xavier was my advisor. He hold it for 8 days. Nothing is fixed yet. No calls from him whatsoever. Finding out that the warranty department awaiting for service paperwork since May of this year. I received no calls about the issue. Moreover, the service was done at the same service department (Ferman). Make no sense at all. My advisor said that he send me e-mail. When I called service department, I was told they don’t even have my e-mail on file. So that is the lie. When I called manager, rudely I was told I can leave bad review no problem and see how that would work out for me. Xavier is eighteen not answering or telling me he will call me right back and he never returns my calls. Terrible service! I have to drive working second time in the unsafe broken up vehicle which can crash at any time. Only one vehicle I have. Ridiculous service or I can’t even call it service at all! I ended up taking vechicke in different service department.

I had service done on my Ram on 17 Sept 2024. Service tech Jason provided excellent customer service. He quickly checked in my RAM and immediately had the mechanic start working on it. The vehicle was finished ahead of schedule by 4 hours. He thoroughly explained what repairs was performed and even had the vehicle washed and vacuumed. Thank you Ferman for having great employees like Jason. Highly recommended and will return again. Please share my comments wherever needed.

I’ve worked in service before and know how hard it can be… this is maybe my 2nd bad review I’ve felt compelled to write.

I brought my Jeep in for a check engine light fix at 7:45am (Goodyear ran the code and said they don’t fix emission leaks and to bring it to dealer). Xavier was suppose to be taking care of it.

4:30 came around and no update, so I call. The man on the other line informed me he only schedules, and would have to have someone call me back because he can’t look it up. By tone of voice he seemed extremely irritated that I was asking for this. I know service workers always deal with rude people, so I always talk to them with kindness and respect. Not sure why that wasn’t reciprocated for needing to know if I needed to make different arrangements for work the next day.

5:40 comes around and a decide to call again. I’m glad I did because google has a blanket statement of an 8pm closer, but service closes at 6. The service extension ended up sending me to sales. This man was much nicer. He tried 3 times to reach someone, no one picked up. He informed me they were probably all gone for the day because they close at 6, but not sure why that would be when they had at least 20 minutes to update me on my car.

I ended up getting there with one minute to spare, and it was not only open but full of workers. When I gave them my information, turns out Xavier (who was gone for the day)? had my paperwork sitting there completed the whole time, with apparently no leak in the first place! If I didn’t show up, I would have been paying more for Ubers to/from work the next day when I don’t have extra money to spare.

I’m sure a representative will copy and paste the same cookie cutter comment to the numerous bad reviews they’ve also gotten. If you’re reading this, you don’t have to. I won’t be calling again. But I have a feeling you’re not reading these anyway, so we’ll all probably see the same comment below……
