AVOID THIS PLACE TO THE HIGHEST!! Do not waste your money buying from these cowboys. I bought a car for 12995£ bank transfer the payment car broke down 4 times in the short 2 weeks I had it I rejected my car, they refused to give me my money back, I have emails, texts, recorded phone calls, pictures everything , they are rude hang the phone up on you laugh that your not getting your money back , got my number blocked , emails were ignored for weeks and weeks on end, complaints not handled and money refund to be refunded to me, even tho the CONSUMERS RIGHTS ACT gives you rights to get your own money back but you don’t have and rights with this company they just want your money end story. , i was then forced into doing a mutual exchange for another vehicle that was 1k dearer than what I payed for my original car but gave me it at no further coz to myself, I just looked at taking this car to sell on to get my money back. Business is ran by con men!!! Laughing like you bought a 12 year old car , yeah and it was in mint condition on the outside with low miles and that you sold me for 12995 😂. Just do your research on this company and you will find the bad reviews, I didn’t do research when I should have. The bad reviews are online you can see them if you do look for them! Please please please do not put your money into this business I honestly regret buying a car from them no car should break 4 times in 2 weeks absolutely not, I took my car to them 3 times and got fobbed off with we’ve fixed it even tho they had me sit in an office for 45 mins while they “fixed” my car 😂 they do not care they just want your money! I have attached some videos, emails texts. I also have phone call recording to prove this company do not care if things go wrong.

Well what can I say. I've come home with a fantastic motor. Long road but we got there in the end and I'm so happy with it. Happy with how it was dealt with and the communication throughout.

Purchased the Discovery 5 through Boyd. Unfortunately it suffered an engine issue through no fault from the dealership. Where I thought it would just be a write off like most dealerships would. Instead they wanted to go ahead and get it sorted. Received a super speedy collection and dropped a truck for use that same day (considering we live 3hrs away, it was really appreciated) and assured the problem would be rectified. They did just that. Very impressed.
The motor is running a treat, lovely drive and what a difference overall.
Boyd went above and beyond to keep me informed on progress and worry free. Sorted extra security on cover for peace of mind should any situation arise down the line but I think with the way the car is preforming now it won't be needed but always safer to have it.
Definitely will be back for any future purchases.

Do not buy from here!!
Purchased a discovery sport from them and within 2 weeks the DPF light came on, car went into limp mode so was returned to be repaired. 6 months later the car has been back to them 4 times, 3 within 3 months, for the same issue. Each time I had to chase for updates on progress. Numerous pictures taken and recordings of calls later I still have a car with a DPF light on and in limp mode. Cost be the cancellation of 2 holidays due to towing a caravan. No response or calls back as requested. No email responses during last 6 months with numerous sent.

Was told the car was prepped and serviced. No service was carried out and service light came on 3 months ago and still nothing done about it. Even when back in to be serviced. Had it checked by another mechanic and it has been confirmed it was not serviced.

Don't get me wrong, Grant the sales man was good and a lovely person but got me nowhere and now have a car that is not useable and on the verge of a 3rd holiday being cancelled.

Communication is terrible, mechanics are shocking, no care for customer service, selling faulty vehicles hoping clearing the codes will make it go away (proof of cleared codes).

I have had to resort to contacting trading standards for support as it shocking.

Disgusted.

Avoid this dealer at all cost.
Bought a LR Velar. Had it only 5mths then required a new timing chain, £4,400 it cost me.
Furthermore the extended warranty they sold me not worth the Ink - MOMENTUM WARRANTIES!! ….AVOID!
They make every excuse not to pay anything, can support this with at least three local garages.
Then my pistons failed resulting in less power, burning significant levels of oil and fuel. Got an estimate of £8k - £10k for replacement engine.
Convinced l was sold someone else’s “dud”
Finally when I took ownership of the car l told them the rear wiper blade was inadequate and requested a replacement, they done no more than take it off another vehicle for sale on their forecourt, all for £15 COWBOYS!
Potential buyers beware!!

Got a car a month ago and had so many issues since with water getting into the car, mould in car, fuel leak, faulty electrics from the water damaging this. Was assured car was dried out and water testing done and within a few weeks car is soaked through again. Fuel leak was fixed and was told it had been cleaned since then, went back with something still leaking from the car and was told it was residue from previous leak. Residue from a leak that had apparently been cleaned? Seatbelt sensors faulty and electric windows faulty with them going down themselves. When purchasing I was assured water issues would not return and if they did I’d be provided with a courtesy car. Car went back twice for repairs and no courtesy given and for one repair was in for two days. Took car back up and was asking about how to just hand back car as it’s been nothing but stress and just got attitude that they have tried to be helpful and repair however if it had been repaired then it shouldn’t be having the same issues weeks later. Now having to dispute this with finance company and consumer advice going forward to try get this repaired or refunded my deposit. Wish I’d read other reviews before purchasing from here very true in one review that they promise everything and then are not interested afterwards. Things got tense from the stress and anger of being lied to about repairs. Hoping finance company can come to some resolution. Would be very very wary if thinking of going here to purchase a car, you may be one of the lucky ones but not worth the risk when faulty vehicles are being sold.

AVOID THIS GARAGE !!!!!!
My friend bought a Range Rover Velar from here February last year. After 5 months required a timing chain which cost him over 4000.
The warranties on the cars in this garage worthless there buying damaged cars cheap and ripping off customers with there useless warranties. After the timing chain was replaced the pistons failed leaving him with less power and burning significant levels of oil and fuel. Took the car to a Ranger Rover specialist to be told it would cost him in the region of 8-10k for a new engine.
Unfortunately my pal didn’t do his homework on this garage and look at the reviews before he purchased this vehicle. Ended up loosing a substantial amount of money on this vehicle.
POTENTIAL BUYERS PLEASE AVOID THIS GARAGE AT ALL COSTS

I bought a car here the end of October. Firstly it was mouldy when I collected it. Put it down to a bad valet. Also looks like black polish was used in the boot to make it look better but it’s rubbed off onto everything that’s ever been in the boot since. Very annoying! The wing mirror was also cracked. Only noticed as I was driving home. The seals in the doors were burst and had to be replaced. There was also an issue with the passenger door not locking which they also had to fix. The battery light kept coming on so they changed that too. Then I took it back due to a coolant leak. I only realised the issue just towards the end of the warranty period. they said the leak was fixed but it was still losing coolant. I had to take it elsewhere the end of December and turns out it had 4 leaks. Had to replace the radiator, radiator hose and housing. Unfortunately after paying to fix all the other leaks it still didn’t fix the problem turns out the engine liner is leaking and it now needs a new engine. I’ve also had to get the clutch done recently. So far I’ve spent 2.5k trying to fix the car and I’ve just had to scrap it as i can’t keep throwing money at a car that is beyond saving. My garage looked for a new engine for 3 months but couldn’t find a suitable engine. I know it’s just your luck buying cars but this has been an ongoing issue since I bought the car. I’m down the best part of £10k in less than a year of owning this car. As I didn’t buy on finance I don’t have a leg to stand on. I’ll not be back for another car that’s for sure! Gave 2 stars are they were good giving me a courtesy car when mine was in with them and they dropped my car back off to me.
