Went for a look at a nice car, met Dan and instantly felt at ease, no hard sell or pressure. Got a good look around the car on my own then a test drive. Dan checked my car over and gave me a fair price, deal was done. Sells quality cars at good prices, would recommend. Dan even stayed late to get the paperwork done so I could take the new car straight away, loved the drive home.

Excellent service from Daniel and the team. Had been looking to upgrade my Fiesta for a while and saw the ST-3 online. Chatted with Daniel by email and phone and he had part exchange quote and finance package sorted within the week. Arranged to drive down from Scotland on Saturday and test drive the car. Signed all the paperwork and drove home with it the same morning. Couldn't be happier. Hopefully they have something nice in stock when current finance is up as will definitely be looking to buy from again. Thanks again!

Legal Action Required: Daniel at TC&C Ltd Refuses to Honour My Consumer Rights after Selling Me a Faulty Car

I purchased a Range Rover Evoque from Trade Cars & Commercials in March 2024, and the experience has been appalling. Daniel, the dealer, has repeatedly refused to acknowledge my consumer rights, making legal action necessary.

Within the first month, I encountered several issues, including an engine warning light due to an exhaust fault and a "battery low" message. The replacement battery provided was neither like-for-like nor as recommended by a specialist Land Rover mechanic Daniel consulted.

The problems escalated, with the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) filling up and causing limp mode, high oil dilution, and intermittent ECU errors. Water ingress in the passenger footwell raised concerns about potential water damage, which Daniel claimed was not present at the time of sale. However, these issues arose just three months into ownership, clearly indicating they must have been present or developing at the time of sale.

Despite numerous attempts to resolve these issues, Daniel showed no responsibility. I was without the car for almost a month during this period due to repair delays, and calls to discuss repairs were either ignored or met with hostility. The soot build-up and oil dilution after repairs indicated ongoing problems. The car, advertised as being in "stunning condition" and "luxuriously maintained," clearly did not meet those standards.

To make matters worse, Daniel fraudulently misrepresented the warranty, implying it was through a third party, AutoProtect, when it was actually a self-funded warranty controlled by the dealership. No mention of the self-funded nature was made, and I only discovered this later through my investigation. This deception demonstrates bad faith on the dealer's part.

Additionally, Daniel has breached data protection laws by mishandling my Subject Access Request and disclosing the previous owner’s details. Instead of addressing these issues, Daniel blocked me on the dealership's Facebook page, refusing to engage further.

Given my experience, I strongly advise potential buyers to avoid Trade Cars & Commercials. Their refusal to honour consumer rights, misleading practices, and disregard for data protection laws demonstrate a severe lack of professionalism and integrity.

Found the car on AutoTrader.
Messaged ahead to arrange a viewing and had an immediate response. Great communication throughout. Daniel was extremely friendly and applied absolutely no pressure. Left us alone with the car and gave me the keys to take it out alone also. Provided all relevant paperwork. Car was as described. Ready to go 48 hours later. Fair price on part ex. All in all, very happy with our new family car. Cheers.

I buy a car from Daniel on Saturday the following week I check the car and find few issues I get in touch with him and we agree to return the car. Everything whase simple and smooth deposit pay back. Still sad cause I couldn't keep the car but better like that.

I was searching around for a good spec GR Yaris and stumbled across TC&C Ltd via an ebay search. I made contact with Dan via ebay messenger and then via direct email. I had a couple of cars to trade in but at first the trade in deal was not the best so left it at that.
After a few weeks of email and phone chat, Dan agreed to a good deal on my Subaru Impreza and in turn a deal on the 1 Owner, full history and low mileage GR Yaris.
The service from start to finish has been second to none and a professional at every step right through to collecting the car.
